Had such an amazing experience at Oshen. Went for lunch. I absolutely love the space. Very clean, open and inviting. They had a pretty big menu with a lot of different options. They also had a really nice selection of alcoholic drinks, including cocktails and wine. The food was spectacular. The edamame had chili in it, but wasn’t too spicy. So delicious. The pork buns were also amazing. They had incredible flavor and texture. Even the salad with ginger dressing was delicious. The dressing had a lot of flavor. We also had the truffle avocado tartar- It came with these crispy rice triangles. The creamy avocado with the crispy rice was perfect. I also had one of the better sushi rolls I’ve had in Charlotte- the DORAGON- Shrimp Tempura, Avocado, AAA Tuna, Krab Salad, Crispy Rice Pearls, Spicy Mayo Eel - everything was so fresh and delicious and the sauce was everything. We also had the chocolate cake for dessert. So light and fresh. I didn’t get our server name, but she was incredible as well. Everyone was very accommodating and swift. I will definitely come back!
An excellent dining experience, lots of unique touches from the staff that elevates the service. Atmosphere is incredibly nice but let’s talk about the food... amazing, best eel I’ve had in Charlotte for sure. Most people don’t even try with edamame but holy cow what a treat. Try it all!
Our new favorite! Fresh fish, exciting menu, excellent staff, modern and elegant decor, clean restrooms. Everything we ordered was delicious! Do not skip the dessert! The passion fruit tart was scrumptious.
Oshen Bar is an absolute gem in Charlotte! The atmosphere is stylish yet welcoming, and the service is outstanding. Every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented — you can tell they use top-quality ingredients. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed evening or a special night out, Oshen Bar delivers an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!
I often order takeout from Oshen and their attention to detail when packing their food is like no other place. I really appreciate it. Tonight I went to eat with my husband. We were seated and from the moment we came we were catered and checked on often. Food came fast and it was delicious. We had 2 appetizers, 3 rolls and 2 different desserts. Amazing!! Everything was so good.
My friend and I came in and sat at the bar and Omri, the bar manager, was amazing! He gave us recommendations and went above and beyond. My friend and I came for our pamper day and it truly felt like we were pampered and taken care of so well. 10/10 recommend! For both food and service!
Everything we had was great - the edamame, yellowtail nigiri, and salmon nigiri especially. You can taste the quality ingredients from the fresh fish to the homemade sauces. The vibe is much more chill than sister restaurant, Yunta, but the service is just as good. Definitely will be back.
Had an amazing experience at this spot! We ordered a bottle of sake and were pleasantly surprised when it came with its own sake dispenser—such a fun touch. The sushi was fantastic, and I highly recommend asking for both the crispy rice and the Japanese milk bread—they were standouts. The vibe reminded me of a trendy New York City restaurant: tables are a bit close together, and the music leans toward the louder, lounge-y side, but it adds to the fun atmosphere. Prices felt very reasonable for the quality. Also, the waitstaff and whoever runs the place were genuinely so kind and welcoming—it made the experience even better. I would absolutely come back again.
